Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Lab Lead
to oversee the operations of our sleep laboratory services. As an
integral part of our faith-based healthcare organization, the Sleep
Lab Lead will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to
transforming healthcare by incorporating innovative solutions and
providing personalized, compassionate care. This role is pivotal in
ensuring our sleep lab operations are performed to the highest
standards and that patient outcomes are optimized through effective
leadership and management of sleep lab personnel and resources.
Manage day-to-day operations of the sleep laboratory, including
patient scheduling, staff supervision, and oversight of sleep
studies. Ensure the sleep lab is compliant with all healthcare
regulations and safety standards. Train, supervise, and mentor
sleep lab technicians and supporting staff. Coordinate with
healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
based on sleep study results. Assess and implement new technologies
and processes to improve patient outcomes and operational
efficiency. Conduct regular reviews and audits of sleep study
procedures and results. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
enhance service delivery and patient care. Proven expertise in
polysomnography and other sleep disorder testing techniques. Strong
leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information
confidentially. Adept at problem-solving and crisis management in a
healthcare setting. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the Board of
Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
