The company owns a growing global portfolio of Entertainment, Consumer Brands and Media Commerce Services businesses that cross promote and exchange data with each other to optimize the engagement experiences it creates for advertisers and consumers. **OVERVIEW** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Designs and executes optimal cycle count models. Establishes inventory error/research protocol and through research modifies operating and systemic procedures to reduce inventory error. Publishes dashboards and related executive summary info on process accuracy, absolute and relative gain losses, as well as other operational metrics. * Responsible for the management of the Inventory Control team and processes. Including hiring, training, scheduling, and establishing priorities for the team. * Responsible for managing inventory at offsite locations including 3rd party marketplaces. * Proactively mentoring, coaching, and administering the performance management process to create a strong succession plan. * Identifies and implements improvements to departmental processes; creates new process flows, documentation, and KPIs. * Work with Finance department and 3rd party auditors to ensure strong controls are in place and followed regarding inventory. * Responsible for SOX compliance as it relates to inventory transactions and systemic access related to inventory movement. * Manage department expenses to budget and staffing to meet forecasted and un-forecasted needs. Provide input and stats for budgeting process and make capital expenditure recommendations with ROI. * Evaluate improvements to departmental processes and created process flows and documentation. * Other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** * Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience in inventory control. * 5 years in a distribution environment, preferably with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role. * Proven track record of fostering a positive work environment and partnering with employees to promote positive employee relations. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple groups, including warehouse teams and IT teams. * WMS experience preferred; Manhattan and Intelligrated software experience preferred **CAREER PATH** Director of Inventor Control iMedia Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
