family environment. Job Summary/Description: WBKO is seeking an
editor/producer for its newscasts. The ideal candidate will be
proficient in video editing, working to edit videos needed for
afternoon and evening newscasts. We will train the right candidate,
but newsroom knowledge is a bonus! This position will be used to
help produce as well, working with producers to help write or find
content as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking
to start their career and gain a solid foundation for the next
step. What We Expect from You: --- Editing video for daily
newscasts --- Recording news feeds from various outlets ---
Collaborating with producers, anchors, reporters on video elements
--- Meeting daily deadlines --- Assist producers, as needed, with
writing, stacking, communicating with production team--- Contribute
on to digital platforms, including website and social media--- Calm
under pressure & Team Player --- Schedule will primarily be evening
hour, with weekend and holiday work as needed. What You Can Expect

Qualifications/Requirements: --- Video editing knowledge, we
utilize Edius to edit our video, training will be provided ---
Solid news judgment--- Understanding of journalistic ethics---
Positive attitude, open to feedback and constructive criticism ---
