If you are looking for a new project, please send me a copy of your updated resumes Professional Engineer W2 Contract An award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firm in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Professional Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to join our Civil Engineering team in Nashville, TN. Our Professional Engineers play a vital role inleading project design efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Our project portfolio includes diverse developments, such as corporate headquarters, industrial sites, single-family subdivisions, mixed-use communities, and urban infill projects. We are seeking a motivated Professional Engineer to contribute to our firm's continued success. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain Experience in civil site design and project leadership Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Working knowledge of project management software Ajera is a plus Strong design, analytical, and communication skills Familiarity with local design regulations and permitting requirements in the middle Tennessee area Proven ability to develop cost-effective and constructible designs Ability to effectively lead and mentor a design team A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Located in Nashville or willing to relocate. Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Design Oversee and produce site development designs for a variety of project types, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance Develop project timelines and milestones and communicate them effectively to the design team Client & Agency Coordination Communicate directly with clients regarding project scope, progress, changes, and challenges Develop professional relationships with agency reviewers and the clients team to facilitate project approvals Team Leadership & Mentorship Delegate project design responsibilities and ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed Mentor, train, and encourage technical and design employees Manage workload and schedules of the design team to ensure project success Business Development & Firm Growth Seek out new project and client opportunities Provide input on proposals for new projects Engage in professional organizations and external activities to develop relationships within the development community Why Join At we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
