YOUR ROLE

• The Team Manager employs leadership skills, technical skills, and manufacturing experience to ensure increased associate productivity, maximize equipment functionality, and proactively manage the daily operational activities in the assigned area of responsibility / shift in order to meet or exceed departmental Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Goals.
  
  Lead a team of up to 30 employees, including Leads
• Be the first point of contact for direct reports for timekeeping, policies, performance, scheduling & other employment-related issues
• Collaborate with others to minimize production interruptions and downtime
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities through 5s, Lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies
• Manage and participate in MOC (management of change) process, includes interfacing with vendors
• Oversee scheduling for batching plans and mixers.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of the sanitation program and the wastewater system, which includes overseeing the monitoring of drains and pits, testing samples and recording data
  
  YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  
  
  • BS Degree in Manufacturing, Business or Engineering related field strongly desired
  • 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintenance activities required
  • Prior blending operations or chemical batching experience preferred
  • Proven team building and team leadership experience, with measurable results, strong engagement and successful development of team members in the next level of leaders
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, Dayforce)
  • Operational knowledge of automated process and machinery
  • Strong communication, presentation and coaching/counseling skills
  • Lead change by creating high performance work teams
  • Schedule is 12 hours, rotating days (2/2/3 schedule) - 5:45am - 6pm - includes every other weekend & some holidays
    The salary for this role is $62,000.00 - $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
