Title: MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN II (multiple positions available)

Hours & Status: PART-TIME, HOURLY - -$13.50 hourly. - Weekends 1st, 2nd & 3rd - Eligible for shift differential

Brief Job Description:

• 
  
• The Mental Health Technician is the direct care staff of the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, which is a 24 hour program. -
  
• Responsible for ensuring the safety of the clients, coordinating mental health evaluations, answering 988 Lifeline calls, and maintaining client care.
  
  
  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Supervise residents ensuring that they are safe and secure at all times
    
  • Answering 988 Lifeline Calls
    
  • Document resident daily activities
    
  • Complete admission/discharges
    
  • Coordinate evaluations with clients and community partners
    
  • Engage with clients through recreational activities
    
  • Assist residents in utilizing acceptable coping skills
    
  • Contribute to general cleanliness of the facility
    
  • Supervise medication administration
    
  • Follow policies and procedures of the ACSU
    
    
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
      
    • valid Kentucky driver's license and proof of insurance;
      
    • acceptable background check (yearly)
