We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe RN Manager OR Endo ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives. -What qualifications you will need:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice or compact state required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 3-5 years of charge nurse experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire -
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) -Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire -What you will do in this role:
    • Assist the Director of Surgical Services with department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities and efficiencies of the Same Day Surgery (SDS) Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). -
    • Function as a clinical expert in the SDS/PAT/PACU arena. -
    • Work cohesively with the Director to develop standards and procedures for providing and improving quality patient care. -
    • Involved in making recommendations and changes to policies using evidence based research. -
