• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIH Stroke Certification
  • Job Details
  • Unit: ICU Neuro
  • Can float to stepdown 1:4 ratio
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center critical care unit preferred
  • Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes
  • IV-tPA administration and post-tPA monitoring competency
    • Job Requirements
    • At least 9 months of travel experience
    • State licensure: KY/Compact in hand
    • RTO accepted or not: Must be included in submittal
    • Charting: Meditech experience preferred, not required
    • 65 mile radius restriction
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST)
      • NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained within 2 years of start date)
      • Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file)
