Experience: 2 years of recent L&D or LDRP experience in a
hospital setting License: Must hold a valid RN license
Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: - Must have 2 years of
recent LD/LDRP experience - Must have BLS, NRP & AWHONN
certifications - Must be willing to work every other weekend and
cover call shifts as needed Description: We are seeking a
registered nurse for our labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
unit. The candidate will be responsible for providing care during
labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases. There are
typically two procedures per night, with inductions conducted on
most shifts. Charting is performed using electronic medical record
systems. Charting follows AWHONN fetal guidelines. The role
includes the teaching of new nurses in OB. Candidates should
possess NRP certification as they will serve as a backup in
situations involving neonate care. A supportive respiratory team is
available 24 hours for additional assistance. This position
requires a commitment to the night shift. The schedule generally
consists of three nights of work followed by days off.
