TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42101! Pay Information $2,150 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical (Ortho/Neuro) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of MS Ortho & MS Neuro experience required License: Valid Compact License required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required at the time of submission Must-Have: Flu vaccine required with no exemptions Description: Must have experience in Medical Surgical with Orthopedic and Neurological patients. Position involves working on a Neuro/Ortho floor. Shift is nights, either 3x12-hour shifts or 4x12-hour shifts. Patient ratios are 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted if they have strong experience and knowledge in Ortho/Neuro. Weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview process. On-call requirements include rotation. Accommodations for block scheduling are possible when allowed. Local candidates within a 65-mile radius are accepted. Must be compliant with all licensure guidelines. Must be available to work during holiday weeks. Preferred experience includes various nursing skills, such as blood product administration, central line management, and telemetry. Registered Nurse will participate in interdisciplinary support with physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with diagnoses such as total joint replacements and post-operative care for various surgical procedures. Special equipment used includes bariatric lifts and traction devices.
