Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech
Language Pathologist experienced in acute care with CCC-SLP, BLS,
and a KY license required for a day shift hospital assignment.
Responsibilities - Position is based in an acute care hospital
setting - Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and
geriatric patients with variable diagnoses - Staffing ratio is 1:1
with an average daily census of 70 - Support services available
include interpretation, PT, radiology, respiratory, social
services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy - Day shift schedule, Monday
through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm - Meditech EMR preferred but not
required - No local travelers accepted within a 65-mile radius -
Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment for a variety of
speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders - Must comply
with mandatory influenza vaccination requirement for travelers -
On-site drug screen conducted on the first day of assignment -
First-time travelers will be considered with the required years of
experience Requirements - Current CCC-SLP certification required -
Active BLS certification required - Valid KY or compact license
required if applicable - Minimum 3 years of recent field experience
for first-time travelers - Acute care experience required Benefits
