Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: December 15, 2025
Location: Nashville, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 4:1 patient ratio; 2–3 weekend
shifts per 4-week schedule period; Day shift includes charge nurse,
6–8 RNs, and 1 ACT; Night shift includes charge RN and 6–8 RNs
Highlights: 25-bed medical surgical unit with oncology focus
Average patient length of stay: 14–21 days, allowing for meaningful
patient relationships Hands-on experience with high-dose
chemotherapy, stem cell infusions, blood transfusions, and central
line maintenance Equipment includes mobilab, Welch Allyn vital
machines, and Alaris IV pumps EMR: Meditech Floating may include
other oncology floors and general medical surgical units
Requirements: Active Tennessee RN license or compact state
eligibility Medical surgical nursing experience required Oncology
and bone marrow transplant experience preferred BLS certification
required Strong commitment to infection prevention protocols,
particularly CLABSI prevention for immunocompromised patients Why
