Medical Unit, 28 beds Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site Start
Date: January 12, 2026 End Date: April 13, 2026 Contract Duration:
13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per
Week: 36 Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexible weekdays
Patient Ratio: Nights 6:1 Support Staff: Unit Secretary, 2-3
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) during days Equipment: Sara Steady,
Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter, Remote Telemetry
Documentation System: Meditech Dress Code: Black or royal blue
scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary: $1530-$1640 Med/Surg RN
Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or
compact state BLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale and CPI
certifications preferred Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing
experience Strong clinical assessment skills Experience with IV
pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets Ability to float
between Med/Surg units as needed Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to a diverse
patient population Perform IV and Foley catheter placements Operate
advanced medical equipment including wound vacs and remote
telemetry Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR
Participate in hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize
patient outcomes Comply with all unit policies, guidelines, and
