Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,502 per week Shift Information: Nights - 16 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 08:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Valid RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Description: Start date is non-negotiable. Position involves 36 or 48 hours per week of work. Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment. Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travelers will always be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required. Unit serves patients with various diagnoses including cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest. Ages of patients served range from young adults to late adults (18 - 60). Nurse to patient ratios are 1:2. Core staffing plan includes registered nurses and patient care technicians. An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. This position requires compliance with staffing certifications.
