Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience with renal medical patients, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis Description: This position involves caring for renal medical patients as well as general medical patients. The unit capacity is 21 beds. The age range of patients served is young adults through late adults (18 - 60). The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment. Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.
