Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Operating Room Nurse to join our Cardiac Vascular Operating Room
(CVOR) on a per needed basis (PRN). This role is pivotal in
maintaining high standards for patient care in complex
cardiovascular surgeries. The ideal candidate thrives in a

Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care in a highly
specialized and critical setting, managing patient care in the
operating room, and collaborating with surgeons and other health
professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes. Preparation of
operating rooms for surgery, including sterilization of equipment
and ensuring proper functioning of surgical tools and devices.
Assisting surgeons during procedures, handling instruments, and
monitoring patient vitals. Administering and monitoring medication
as prescribed by healthcare providers. Providing preoperative and
postoperative care, including patient education and emotional
support. Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all
care delivered. Adhering to safety and health guidelines to prevent
infection and ensure the well-being of patients and staff. Ability
to perform under pressure in high-stress situations Exceptional
synchronization and coordination with surgical teams Advanced
understanding of sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Excellent communication and patient management skills Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee, or compact
state license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Certification in
Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) preferred
