TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a prominent healthcare institution in Nashville, seeks a dedicated Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) Nurse to join our team. This role is crucial for the provision of high-level care in our state-of-the-art MSICU. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care nursing, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex patient care dynamics and the ability to respond effectively under pressure. Our MSICU Nurse will work alongside a team of specialized healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, committed to delivering exceptional care to patients with serious medical conditions. This role requires an individual who is not only technically skilled but also compassionate and capable of supporting patients and their families during critical times. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Instruct and educate patients and families on treatment plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by health care providers. Assess and coordinate the patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting with a focus on critical care Ability to make quick and accurate assessments of patient conditions Proficient in using medical software for patient care management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work effectively in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred
