Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating
Room Nurse specializing in cardiac care to join our elite
healthcare team. This position involves working closely with
cardiac surgeons to provide top-tier patient care during surgical
procedures, ensuring safety and adhering to stringent medical
protocols. As a key member of our operating room staff, you'll have
the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility renowned for
its advanced cardiology services. This role requires a combination
of technical skill, extensive medical knowledge, and a
compassionate approach to patient care. Assist in cardiac surgical
procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly set up
and functioning. Monitor patient vitals and respond to medical
needs during surgeries. Collaborate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure
comprehensive care. Maintain sterile environments and uphold all
infection control protocols. Participate in post-operative care and
assessments, including patient recovery and follow-up evaluations.
Engage in continuous education to keep abreast of advancements in
cardiac care and surgical practices. Proficiency in perioperative
nursing care and techniques. Strong knowledge of cardiac diseases
and surgical treatments. Ability to operate specialized surgical
equipment. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Capability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and
calm. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Tennessee. Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification is
preferred.
