Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Must-Have: Successful completion of a rhythm test Description: Variable staffing grid includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Unit capacity is 36 beds. Population served is a post-surgical floor with multiple specialties including GI, vascular, thoracic, women's health, bariatric, urology, and peritoneal dialysis. Patients served range from young adults to late adults (ages 18-60). Nurse to patient ratios are 1:6.
