Qualifications The Inpatient Rehab Nurse Manager ensures high
quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall
daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager
monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance
with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable
for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility
objectives. What you will do in this role: - Maintain
responsibility for workflow of unit by ensuring proper staff levels
with adherence to all productivity and budget guidelines. - Ensure
a high quality of patient care and assist in patient care as
necessary. - Maintain responsibility for the financial integrity of
the unit. - Handle all staffing needs and personnel management,
including interviewing, hiring and training new staff members, and
handling any disciplinary actions. - Collaborate with the Program
Director with the development and implementation of the
rehabilitation strategic plan, being consistently aware of the
changing rehabilitation market. - Direct and manage the resources
of the Rehab Unit in an ethical, viable manner. - Assure the
development of quality rehabilitation programming to meet market
needs in collaboration with the Medical Director and other clinical
staff. - Ensure the supply of appropriate resources to support the
programs, services, organizational structure and staffing levels
necessary for quality rehabilitation services. - Actively encourage
the integration of rehabilitation services into the continuum of
care of the Hospital and community. - Establish operations and
processes to support, facilitate, and maintain uniform performance
of patient care including documentation. - Direct the development,
implementation, and monitoring of the quality management plan for
acute rehabilitation services, including outcome measurement. -
Evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation operational systems
and leadership on a regular basis. - Create a high quality,
professional clinical environment to facilitate the necessary
recruitment and retention of appropriate numbers of qualified
staff. - Facilitate ongoing educational opportunities for the
staff, as well as patients, professional associates, physicians,
and the community. What qualifications you will need: - Graduate of
an Accredited School of Nursing required. - Bachelor or Master of
Science in Nursing (BSN/MSN) preferred. - Current Licensure as a
Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state
required. - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30
days of employment start date. - 1-3 years of related clinical
leadership experience preferred. TriStar Summit is a 230 bed
comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding
counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full
array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology,
orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an
Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke
