Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Orthopedic /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in combined Orthopedic and Medical Surgical units with 30 orthopedic beds and 37 medical surgical beds /n• Maintain patient ratio of usually 6:1 /n• Full-time schedule requires working 4 weekend shifts per month (example: 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday) /n• Scheduling follows month increments (4 weeks) /n• Float to inpatient units to take patients and assist with tasks in CCU and ED as needed /n• Work with PCTs and SNEs in tech roles with unit secretary support during day shifts /n• Use Meditech documentation system /n• Some physicians perform bedside procedures, though less common than in CCU/ED /n• BLS certification required /n• Must demonstrate positive attitude, willingness to work hard, ability to manage patient loads, utilize teamwork strategies, and provide patient-centered care /n• Dress code requires scrub top and bottoms with no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweaters (long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets permitted) /n• No shoes with holes, no denim, no camouflage allowed /n• All experience levels welcome to apply /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with specialized orthopedic care.
