Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Hendersonville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Labor and Delivery experience Intermediate fetal monitoring experience Triage experience Description: The unit consists of 20 LDRP beds and 5 OB assessment beds. Patient ratios are 1:3-4 couplets, 1:1 for all active labors, VBACs, laboring on magnesium sulfate, and laboring on insulin. Triage and early labor/cervical ripening patient ratios are 1:1-2. The staffing includes a unit secretary Monday to Friday and a Patient Care Technician Monday to Friday from 0300-1130. An OB scrub tech is available 24/7. The unit is equipped with GE fetal monitors and novii systems. Documentation is managed through CPN and Meditech. Scheduling utilizes Timpani. There is no floating policy in place. Bedside shift report is required every shift, every time to promote patient experience. Advanced skills needed include couplet care and circulating in the operating room. Procedures performed on this unit include vaginal deliveries, versions, cesarean sections, epidurals, postpartum tubals, cerclage removal, and circumcisions. Dress code requires shocking pink scrubs; pale pink or mauve scrubs are not permitted. This unit was recognized as a unit of distinction in 2021. We are an innovation pilot site focused on solutions that improve the workload of the nurse and enhance overall patient experience and outcomes.
