TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, located in Smyrna, TN, is seeking a skilled MRI Tech to join our dynamic Imaging team. Our facility provides a wide range of health services including advanced diagnostics, emergency care, and specialized surgery. The MRI Tech will be essential in delivering high-quality imaging services, supporting diagnostic accuracy for various departments such as cardiology and orthopedics. This role is pivotal in enhancing patient care by utilizing the latest in MRI technology to obtain clear and precise images that aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images as per the physician's orders Ensure the safety of patients by screening for contraindications such as pacemakers or metallic implants Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Maintain patient records and radiologic logs, ensuring confidentiality and compliance Optimize scan protocols and adjust equipment settings based on the needs of the examination Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to assess image quality and determine if additional images are needed Perform daily equipment checks to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards Provide clear instructions to patients and address any concerns or questions related to the MRI process Proficient in MRI safety and operational protocols Strong technical skills and ability to handle MRI equipment Excellent patient management and communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist CPR certification
