Job Description:
TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate newly graduated nurse to join our Operating Room
Nurse Residency program. This opportunity offers intensive training
and mentorship in surgical care, aiming to equip new nurses with
the skills and confidence required to excel in a fast-paced
operating room environment at our state-of-the-art hospital in
Smyrna, TN. As a participant in the residency, you will gain
hands-on experience in various surgical procedures while ensuring
optimal patient care in line with our commitment to healthcare
excellence. Assist in the operating room and participate in
surgical procedures. Ensure the operating room is prepared with all
necessary supplies and equipment. Monitor patient vitals and
maintain patient safety during surgeries. Work collaboratively with
the surgical team to facilitate effective communication and
seamless operations. Participate in post-surgical assessments and
interventions to ensure patient recovery. Strong clinical skills
and knowledge of surgical procedures. Excellent communication and
teamwork abilities. Ability to handle stressful situations with
calmness and professionalism. Organizational skills and attention
to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or
eligible for licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required.
