Job Description:
TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is seeking a
qualified Radiology Technologist PRN to join our dynamic radiology
team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a
state-of-the-art medical facility that includes emergency care,
cardiology, orthopedics, advanced diagnostics, a birthing center,
and surgical services. The Radiology Technologist PRN will be
responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using
X-rays, CT scans, and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis
and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
high professionalism and the ability to work flexibly on an
as-needed basis without a set schedule, ensuring high-quality
imaging services that adhere to departmental and hospital
standards. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT,
MRI, and other modalities Ensure compliance with hospital policies
and safety standards Assist radiologists during the execution of
complex diagnostic tests Prepare patients for procedures by
explaining the process and positioning patients to achieve the best
results while ensuring comfort Manage imaging equipment, perform
basic maintenance, and report any malfunctions Collaborate with
healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Proficiency in various imaging modalities Strong technical skills
and ability to handle imaging equipment Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
