seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in
Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Neurology - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered
Nurse – Med Surg Unit Name: 3rd, Neuro Med/Surg Requirements: Must
have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience Must Have: BLS certification
Hospital Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level
II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center Requested Skill Set:
Med/Surg experience Ability to prioritize care and multitask Start
IVs Basic wound care Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric
tubes, and chest tubes Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 20 Patient
Ratios: 6:1 Unit Staffing: Tech support on day and night shifts;
unit secretary on shift 7a–7p Equipment Used: IV pumps, telemetry,
SCDs, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG
machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology
Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: Three
12-hour shifts per week 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
Floating Policy: Contract labor is first to float Rotation used
when multiple contract staff are scheduled Patient Experience
Expectations: Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients
and families Participate in bedside shift report Build personal
connections with patients and involve families in care planning
Dress Code (Required): Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) Express

on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
