Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Technician PRN to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring that medical equipment is in optimal condition, aiding in patient care and recovery. As a PRN DME Technician, you will work on an as-needed basis, assisting in the management, maintenance, and operation of medical equipment. You will play a pivotal role in our mission to enhance community health through innovative care in Williamson, WV. Inspect, maintain, and repair durable medical equipment. Deliver, install, and instruct patients and healthcare providers on proper usage of medical equipment. Ensure cleanliness and functionality of equipment according to industry standards. Document equipment status and manage inventory. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly. Technical knowledge of medical equipment Strong communication and instructional skills Proficient in the use of tools and diagnostic devices Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs Organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification in biomedical equipment technology (optional but preferred) Valid driver's license may be required for equipment delivery roles.
