Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,685 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Description: Filling open needs for this fast-paced, high acuity STEP DOWN unit. We provide care to some of the most critically ill patients. Patients in this unit frequently require advanced medical attention and monitoring. Unit capacity includes 14 beds. We serve patients with various diagnoses including chest pain, post kidney transplant, acute renal failure, congestive heart failure, GI bleed, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, and pulmonary disease. Patients may have undergone thoracic and/or other surgical procedures and often have comorbidities. The nurse to patient ratio is 3:1. This position requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs.
