Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Scrub Tech to join our dynamic team. Based in Williamson, WV, we strive to improve community well-being through our targeted health and wellness services. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a crucial role in our surgical teams, ensuring all operating procedures run smoothly and safely by providing skilled assistance and maintaining sterile environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to surgeries that enhance patient lives, relying on your precise skills and commitment to patient care. Prepare and organize operating rooms for surgeries Ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and in proper setup before and after procedures Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies Help in maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infections Handle specimen collections as instructed by the surgical staff Participate in post-surgery debriefs and assist in patient prep and transfer Proficiency in sterilization techniques Ability to handle surgical instruments safely Effective communication skills for interacting with the surgical team Strong organizational skills to prepare and manage the OR efficiently Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required. Compliance with state regulatory requirements.
