Start Date: April 13, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Schedule: Day Shift 7a-7p, Night Shift 7p-7a, Swing Shift 11a-11p
Coverage Type: Emergency Medicine

Clinical Details

Trauma Level: Not applicable
Number of ED Beds: 12 (7 ED/5 UC)
Annual ED Visits: 25,000
Patients per Hour: 2
Admission Rate: 5%
Transfers: 3-4 per day
Fast Track in ED: 5 UC beds and 7 ED beds
EMR: Meditech Expanse, transitioning to EPIC in December 2026

Requirements

License: Active Kentucky License required
Board Certification/Eligibility: Required (ABMS/AOA or foreign board acceptable to ABMS/AOA)
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, or ATLS (if not board certified)
MD Supervisor of APP Required: Yes
