As an integral part of our driving team, you will be responsible for transporting goods, primarily involving materials such as gravel, sand, rocks, and other loose materials essential for construction and development projects. Our drivers are pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our service, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Transport and deliver materials like sand, gravel, and rock to various construction sites. Operate dump truck controls to load and unload materials. Inspect trucks daily to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper securing of the cargo. Implement safe driving practices to keep public roadways and construction sites safe. Communicate with dispatchers or other drivers to ensure efficient delivery schedules. Ability to operate different types of dump trucks and materials handling equipment. Understanding of safe driving practices and road regulations. Physical fitness and ability to handle long hours and demanding tasks. Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Basic troubleshooting skills for minor truck repairs.
