The Global IT Engineer, Network role is a key position on the MCC
Global Infrastructure team reporting directly to the Global IT
Director Data Center, Cloud, Network . You will be responsible for
engineering and delivering methodology for the complete design and
management of MCC’s global network infrastructure. This will
include key technology areas such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches,
Access Points, configuration backup and disaster recovery. Job Core
Responsibilities Accountable for assisting Architect with
standards, management, and support of Global Networks. Implements
and support implementations following dictated architecture, and
standards for networks to ensure availability, reliability,
scalability, and security. Collaborates with regional leaders and
teams to understand local needs and identify opportunities to
standardize network infrastructure while addressing local
requirements. Ensure implementation of global practices and
standards for all global networks. Works with key vendors for
network related services. Monitors network sensors, config backup,
and network security. Help implement and monitor all required
network monitoring. Network capacity monitoring. Level 2 and 3
support and problem/issue resolution. Life cycle management of
network infrastructure. Software license management for all network
infrastructure. Maintain support contract coverage for all key
network infrastructure. Qualifications Five years of relevant
experience. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent internal customer-facing skills, including critical issue
escalation & resolution, root cause analysis / corrective actions,
and leading with accountability. Significant, demonstrable
experience of deployment of network infrastructure using modern
methods. Use of proper change management and communication skills.
Incorporation of modern and proven methodologies for patching and
securing all network infrastructure. Virtualization Technologies.
Remote Access technologies, including ADC, ZTNA & VPN. Identity
Access Management (Active Directory, Entra) including conditional
Access Policy and MFA. Network hardware Lifecycle Management.
Hardware and Software Asset Management. Backup, Business Continuity
and Disaster Recovery for network infrastructure. LI-SD1 appcast
