We are Aston Carter Kentucky BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership to Accounts Payable and cost accountant staff members. Manage cash accounts and banking relationships. Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and resolve all vendor invoice/payment discrepancies. Reconcile AP and inventory accounts and other accounts as requested. Participate in monthly close activities. Prepare Inventory Revaluation, LCM/ICP calculation. Prepare and ensure accurate and timely Service and Aging reserves. Prepare month-end inventory report. Ensure accurate valuation of raw material, work in progress and FG inventories for multiple locations. Oversee corporation---s physical inventory. Verify accuracy of monthly variance reports and explain all variances. Write company accounting policies. Projects and CI activities as required. Special research and investigation as requested. Work with multiple systems: ERPLX, ACCPAC, various AP systems and others.
