The Sr Principal, QUADS will own the benchmarking and diagnostic tools for the Marketing & Communications practice. They will be responsible for working across the Gartner for Marketing Leaders organization to understand the needs of our clients, gather requirements, maintain existing tools, and suggest new client-facing tools that increase retention and client engagement. They will define the methodology and data sources, as well as, set, prioritize, and accept the work generated by the scrum team in order to ensure most valuable features and functionality are included in the product. The role provides excellent exposure to a full range of topics important to CMOs and CCOs; to peers in other business units and practices across Gartner and other CoEs, as well as the opportunity to apply and further develop statistical concepts and data visualization expertise.

What you will do:

Lead and promote best practice in design, execution, process & delivery of diagnostic and benchmarking products Work closely with management team and peers to build trust, encourage teamwork and drive the highest impact for data tools, interactives and benchmark research Become an expert in benchmarking and be able to walk R&A partners through the entire value chain system of benchmarking and diagnostic products Own technical aspects of tool management (e.g. routine dataset validation; regular content updates/redesigns; participating in product champion meetings) Work with partners in QUADS and PRM on design and creation of survey instruments, sampling methodologies, and quantitative models (maintaining consistent methodology across relevant research surveys and benchmarking tools) Ensure benchmark and diagnostic offerings have proper documentation, training, and research publishing support - coordinate across Research, Advisory, Content Production and IT teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients Prepare responses to client questions on the correct way to interpret and use benchmarking data Work with KI Leaders to understand client MCPs (mission critical priorities) and suggest new benchmarks or diagnostic tools to complement research and KI storylines Be a thought partner on how best to update current processes, based on business strategy and priority Identify new ways to efficiently and responsibly make data assets available to members of the research and advisory teams

What you will need:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Superior customer service ethic and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to perform gracefully under pressure and meet inflexible or shifting deadlines; ability to context switch Positive, solution-oriented approach to problems Availability to perform as part of a team as well as individually Business and IT knowledge a plus

Qualifications:
