The Senior Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations. 80%Client/Policy ServicesProvides daily service to and builds relationships with clients by managing phone calls and emails in a timely manner and attending meetings.Responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts. - Leading the annual renewal process through marketing management and presentation development for specific clients - Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships. - Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities. - Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. - Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions. - Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes. - Supporting sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets. - Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry. - Ensuring delivery of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual claims reporting with insights to clients - Maintaining direct communication and relationship with insureds. - Completing special projects as requested by Manager. - Performing open enrollment meetings and assisting clients in enrollment paperwork for employees. - Taking ownership over accounts20%TeamworkWorks together with team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting, Compliance, etc.; this includes conferencing with Producer to discuss execution of strategies. Acts as mentor to department team members. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Completes special projects that require extensive insurance knowledge and experience..

Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or service issues from company personnel and/or clients. Ability to speak and represent the company effectively before groups of customers.Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to bring full resolution to issues without Producer/Service Manager involvement. Possess mature and experienced reasoning ability which maintains a high level of Producer and Service Manager confidence.Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must hold applicable state insurance license or can obtain such within 120 days of employment. Must be able to obtain insurance designations as set forth by the organization's education plan.
