Description:SummaryThe Account Executive's responsibilities
include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and
offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow
accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships,
identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with
internal teams to deliver on client expectations. 80%Client/Policy
ServicesProvides daily service to and builds relationships with
clients by managing phone calls and emails in a timely manner and
attending meetingsResponsibilities include: -- Following up on
leads and winning new clients.-- Developing and implementing
strategic plans to manage and grow accounts.-- Retaining clients
and building strong, trusting relationships.-- Understanding client
needs and identifying new business opportunities.-- Providing
superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.--
Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver
solutions.-- Identifying opportunities for improvement and
proposing new tools and processes.-- Supporting sales teams to
improve their performance and reach targets.-- Developing and
maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business,
offerings, competitors, and industry.-- Maintaining direct
communication and relationship with insureds.-- Obtaining updated
underwriting information from clients when necessary. -- Reviewing
policies and entering information in a database system.--
Completing special projects as requested by Manager. -- Performing
open enrollment meetings and assisting clients in enrollment
paperwork for employees.-- Maintaining agency management database
with current information and ordering corrections as necessary. --
Maintaining conducive relationship with insurance carriers. --
Maintaining Producer and Service Manager confidence in job
knowledge, judgment calls, and awareness of current industry trends
and developments.-- Maintaining compliance with all Employee
Benefit service standards and procedures.-- Handling the most
complex policy issues and finding resolution without
Producer/Service Manager involvement.-- Mentoring others within the
department with regard to client/policy service standards and
procedures.-- Coordinate with Technology and Benefits Department to
support client enrollment needs, when applicable. -- Prepare ERISA
Wrap Documents. -- Working with marketing and clients for the
purpose of gathering marketing data.-- Seeking opportunities for
potential up selling of accounts.-- Coordinating with Renewal
Marketer when applicable.-- Negotiate, manage, & deliver renewals
10%TeamworkWorks together with team and with other departments,
such as Marketing, Accounting, Compliance, etc.; this includes
conferencing with Producer to discuss execution of strategies. Acts
as mentor to department team members. Volunteers to back up and/or
assist others as needed. Manages PTO to work with departmental
needs. Completes special projects that require extensive insurance
knowledge and experience. 10%DeterminationDisplays commitment and
initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set
forth in the organizations education program.
Requirements:Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 1-2
Account Managers Assistants. Responsibilities include assigning and

Ability to speak and represent the company effectively before
groups of customers.Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate

Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word
Processing software.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must hold
applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain
such within 90 days of employment. Must be able to obtain insurance
