DescriptionThe Property & Casualty Operations Leader will play a
key role in overseeing the leadership and overarching strategy
across the service, claims, and quality departments within Houchens
Insurance Group. In a strategic capacity, this role will analyze
business needs, recommend improvement/solutions, and ensure their
implementation/execution either directly or through departmental
leaders. Collaborating closely with the agency P&C President
and Regional President(s), the Operations Leader will contribute to
shaping/reshaping the organizational vision and strategy for
mission-critical aspects such as service standards, client
retention, operational processes, efficiencies, E&O prevention,
etc.A key responsibility of the Operations Leader is to effectively
engage with various levels of the organization-leading up & out,
and down & in. This involves securing buy-in at all levels,
fostering consensus, navigating change management, and overseeing
the execution of strategies. In essence, this role will not only
contribute to formulating strategies but also communicate them
effectively and ensure their successful implementation.Essential

StrategyResponsibilities include:--- Collaborate with the agency
P&C President and Regional President(s) to analyze business
needs and recommend improvement/solutions.--- Contribute to
shaping/reshaping the organizational vision and strategy for
mission-critical aspects such as service standards, client
retention, operational processes, efficiencies, E&O prevention,
etc.--- Ensure the organization is consistently informed of
industry best practices in order to incorporate proven solutions
into the overall strategy.--- Utilize technology and innovation to
streamline and improve efficiency and quality across the Property &
Casualty division of HIG.---Identifies and mitigates potential
issues and risks when at all possible.33%Strategy
ExecutionResponsibilities include:---Ensure strategy
implementation/execution either directly or through departmental
leaders.---Communicate strategy to applicable personnel and
garnering consensus and buy-in for execution.--- Provide hands-on
solutions in the early stages of a project to set the vision and
get initiatives moving forward.--- Develop metrics that provide
data for process measurement and
improvement.33%LeadershipResponsibilities include:--- Engage with
various levels of the organization-leading up & out, and down & in.

ultimate execution of the strategy.--- Inspire team to meet
department expectations for productivity, quality, and goal

Demonstrate ability to work independently, think critically, and
show initiative, as well as make extensive use of strong leadership
qualities to quickly establish credibility within the
organization.--- Develop a long-term plan to build a team capable
of supporting the organization's needs and initiatives.---
Contribute to productive relationships amongst cross-functional
organizational to unify direction, resolve conflicts and set
priorities.--- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure
team performance and coach others.---Perform leadership duties such
as interviewing candidates, performing employee performance
reviews, addressing performance issues, and applying appropriate
disciplinary action leading up to termination.---As the team
develops and grows, maintain adequate staffing and monitors
workload distribution.RequirementsTo perform this job successfully,

ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college
or university; at least three-five years of operations, project
management, and business/industry work experience; at least two
years of advanced leadership; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.Language SkillsExcellent energy and
interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively
communicate and interact with all levels of the organization
including senior/executive management.Mathematical SkillsAbility to
calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, and percentages.Reasoning AbilityAbility
to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions. Ability to bring full resolution to issues with
limited Manager involvement. Possess mature and experienced
reasoning ability which maintains a high level of Manager
confidence.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an
individual should have knowledge of database software, Internet
software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. The
individual must be technically capable of understanding and
adapting to emerging business use software programs.Certificates,
