OverviewThe national offices of the Presbyterian Church
(U.S.A.), based in Louisville Kentucky, serve with mid-councils,
congregations, worshipping communities, and partner organizations
to carry forth the mission of Jesus Christ. Approximately 400

to all people. This community comprises the staff of national
entities: the Interim Unified Agency, the Presbyterian Publishing
Corporation, Presbyterian Women, and the Administrative Services
Group.Position Purpose: IT Infrastructure manages physical and
cloud-based technology systems and software and supports the use of
the systems. The IT Infrastructure lead is responsible for
overseeing the IT infrastructure systems and staff, both in-house
and outsourced, managing technology projects, and providing
high-level support as needed. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Manages the IT Infrastructure department and integrates with
supporting organizations as required
- Develops strategies for providing local and cloud-based
resources so that staff can access and easily and reliably work
with applications and the supporting technology..
- Manages outsourced security and technology support firms
- Handles high-level administrative tasks in Microsoft 365,
Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other cloud-based
infrastructure services
- Maintains PC(USA)'s security baseline and assesses the security
implications of all new technology under consideration
- Provides high-level support for applications
- Other duties as assigned.Essential Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or
equivalent experience
- Five years of experience in IT management roles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
- Solid experience with standard network technology, both
traditional and cloud-based.
- Experience managing outsourced IT resources such as Managed
Services Providers.
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks or equivalents and current
thinking on information security.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff,
vendors, and consultants.
- Has competent communication and collaboration skills to
establish priorities and resolve conflicts.Helpful Skills:
